About the Company:
Join one of the TOP 2 global leaders in affiliate marketing within the sports and online betting industry. The company attracted more than 100 million visitors over the past year and works with over 50 international clients.
The company develops its own B2C products, portals, and platforms used by millions of people worldwide every day. This is not client-driven development: the company builds, owns, and continuously evolves its own products over the long term. It places a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and code quality.
The IT department consists of approximately 100 people. Teams have 6–8 members, are led by a Senior Engineering Manager, and collaborate across hubs around the world.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced developer who wants to take genuine ownership of a product. You will influence how the product looks and behaves, as well as how it is built from a technical perspective. You will help decide how solutions are designed and implemented, while also taking responsibility for deployment and ongoing support.
The specific programming language or framework is not important. What matters is that you understand the entire stack, from frontend and backend to system architecture, and can demonstrate this expertise through real-world products.
Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of features, from solution design and development through code reviews to production deployment and ongoing support.
- Design large-scale, performance-intensive distributed systems.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical product roadmaps.
- Work across both frontend and backend, depending on the product's needs.
- Collaborate with product and business teams, translating their requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor colleagues, conduct code reviews, and help raise the team's engineering standards.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and quality of solutions used by millions of people.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience at Staff / Senior+ level, including system architecture and design.
- Full-stack experience, with hands-on expertise in both frontend and backend frameworks. The specific language does not matter; examples include PHP, Java, Node.js, .NET, or Go.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience developing B2C / consumer products, such as portals, platforms, or applications serving a large user base.
- Product ownership: you have owned and evolved a product over the long term, rather than simply delivering individual components for clients, with end-to-end responsibility.
- A product-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- English proficiency at B2+ level (you will work in an international environment).
Nice to Have:
- React or Vue on the frontend.
- Java, PHP, or TypeScript / Node.js on the backend.
- AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with LLMs and AI solutions.
Benefits:
- 10% annual bonus.
- Fully remote work within Slovakia.
- Flexible working hours (core hours: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM).
- Shorter Fridays during the summer.
- Company laptop (Mac or Windows, your choice) plus a €300 budget for additional equipment.
- Long-term investment programs.
- Comprehensive healthcare and retirement benefits.
- Learning, sports, and wellbeing benefits.
- An international team with hubs around the world.
- The opportunity to work on products used by millions of people.
