Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

Wage conditions: from €2500 according to experience

Working hours: flexible but not at night

Type of employment: full time (TPP)

Arrival: by agreement

Language skills: the primary communication language is Slovak, the documentation is in English

We are looking for an experienced candidate with previous experience with deploying, configuring and operating systems.

Candidate requirements:

Must-have:

• Strong networking skills – topology design, configuration, troubleshooting
• Linux administration and systems management in production
• Infrastructure as Code - practical experience with Terraforming/SaltStack…
• Virtualization – experience with VMware or KVM
• Containerization and Kubernetes – on-prem Kubernetes production management
• CI/CD and Git workflow – work with repositories and pipelines
• Monitoring, logging and observability – Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logs

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with storage technologies
• Messaging systems (Kafka, etc.)
• Advanced Kubernetes components (CNI, CSI, service mesh, RBAC)
• On-prem cloud solutions (OpenStack / CloudStack)
• Programming in Go or Python
