Main content of work:

• Development and expansion of backend functionalities
• Design and implementation of scalable solutions with an emphasis on modularity
• Work with microservices architecture and REST API
• Cooperation with the product manager and other stakeholders
• Performance optimization and business-critical product scaling
• Creation and maintenance of tests (unit testing)
• Participation in building engineering best practices and knowledge sharing culture

Candidate requirements:

• Experience with Python development
• Knowledge of AWS (or other cloud environment)
• Experience with microservices and API development
• Working with REST APIs
• Knowledge of versioning (Git)
• Experience with unit testing (e.g. Pytest)
• Experience working with data (e.g. Pandas, cloud data warehouse)

Advantage:

• Experience with PHP
• Experience with FastAPI

Selection process:

1. Introductory call with Talent Partner (30–45 min)
2. Technical interview with the team (1 hour)
3. Technical competency-based interview (1 hour)
4. Final round with tech leadership (in person in Bratislava)
