Procurement Specialist

Language skills: fluent English (C1+)

About the position:

Become part of a growing startup, specializing in sale and packaging of lyophilized (freeze dried) fruit. The company has the ambition to become one of the leaders in this segment in Western Europe.

Your task will be mainly ensuring stable supplies high quality materials and at the same time building strong relationships with suppliers. The company is over an experienced founder, who successfully built several globally operating companies.

Main content of work:

• Searching and mapping suppliers freeze-dried fruit on the global market
• Building and maintaining supplier relationships – personal meetings, exhibitions, factory visits
• Supervise every delivery corresponded to the agreed standards
• Regular cooperation with the sales team – sales forecasts as a basis for purchasing planning

Candidate requirements:

• Experience with procurement / sourcing of physical goods or commodity - ideally import from abroad, container orders
• Negotiation skills and experience with supplier management
• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for supply
• Analytical thinking – planning, forecasting, working with data
• Ability to collaborate across teams (sales, production)
• Willingness to travel
