Senior C++ Developer

About the position:

You will join a successful Czech company with international projects and many recognized certifications, where you will become part of a small Slovak team. You will take part in the development of real-time systems for passive multilateration radars. Your main focus at present will be simulation devices, which are used to test the systems in extreme situations and also to train system operators.

• A person who enjoys technical challenges and can contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle (from requirements analysis, through solution design, development, testing, and maintenance) of high-performance and scalable C++ applications in the area of radar signal propagation simulation and processing

• A developer who can write good code and, on top of that, gradually build up domain knowledge as well

Professional requirements:

• Knowledge of C++ (C++14/17/20) and OOP, min. 5 years of experience
• Experience with real-time data processing and multi-threading
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools (e.g. Git, Redmine)
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging/profiling tools

Additional experience (Nice to have):

• Knowledge of the Qt and POCO libraries
• Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
• Knowledge of OpenGL, VB, GIS
• Experience with communication protocols such as TCP, HTTP
• University degree (Master's or PhD level) in computer science or electrical engineering
• Understanding of radar systems and signal processing
